Meet the Staff

Dr. Stephanie P. Lindsay grew up in Michigan and attended Kalamazoo College for her undergraduate degree.  Following college, she attended the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry.  She then completed an additional two years of specialty training in pediatric dentistry at The Ohio State University and Columbus Children's Hospital and obtained her master's degree in 2001.  In addition, she maintains an active affiliation with the UNC School of Dentistry as an Adjunct Assistant Professor.  Having also spent a substantial amount of time in Mexico and Spain, she is able to speak Spanish.

Dr. Stephanie is a member of the North Carolina Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association. 

Dr. Stephanie and her husband, Mark, have two sons, Grant, and Drew.

Ashley Long
Certified Dental Assistant

Ashley was born in Greensboro, NC and continues to live there.  She has a bachelor’s degree in exercise and sports science from UNCG.  She completed the Dental Assisting program at GTCC in 2006, she then passed the Dental Assisting National Board exam and is now a certified Dental Assistant.  Ashley enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Chris and her family, especially her niece Carlie.  Her hobbies include reading, scrapbooking and watching Carolina Tarheel basketball.  Ashley comes from a large family and has always enjoyed working with children.  She joined the practice in 2006.

Angie Ritter
Clinical Coordinator/DA II

Angie Ritter is a North Carolina native, who grew up in Randolph County.  She is a graduate of the Dental Assistant program at GTCC in 1992.  She has over ten years of experience in the dental field.  She joined Dr. Lindsay in 2004 because of her deep love for children and pediatric dentistry.  Her parents are also natives of Randolph County and still make their home there.  She also has two cats named Callie and Jasper and a great dane, Astro.  They are her passion and help her make her home in the Liberty area of Randolph County.  Angie’s hobbies include going to the beach, watching baseball and softball, listening to music, and enjoying the great outdoors.  She is a huge Atlanta Braves fan.  In her spare time, she is also an accomplished potter.  Angie has a niece Brittany who is the absolute joy of her life.  Brittany attends Charleston Southern University.

Nicki Long
DA II

Nicki Long is a North Carolina native, who grew up in High Point.  She graduated from the Dental Assistant program at GTCC in 2003.  She worked in general dentistry for a year and a half before deciding on a career in pediatrics in 2005.  Her and her husband, Brian, have been married since 2000.  She has one brother, two nieces and a nephew.  She has two cats named Nemo and Libby and a chocolate Labrador retriever named Chance.  Nicki is a passionate NASCAR fan.  Her favorite driver is Tony Stewart.  She and her husband make their home in Wallburg, NC.  Nicki and Brian are proud parents to their son, Austin.

Jamie Rains
Financial Coordinator

Jamie Rains is a native of North Carolina, who grew up in Lexington, NC.  She graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Rowan Community College.  A former dental assistant, Jamie has been in the dental field for 11 years.  She completed a certified Patient Service Representative class from Wake Forest School of Medicine.  She has three sons named Cole, Nathan and Christian, as well as two grandchildren, Kyleigh and Conner.  She has a 4 year old beagle named Lucky.  Jamie’s hobbies include listening to live music, dance, theatre, going to the movies, and when time permits, reading.  She’s a huge hockey fan and enjoys vacationing in both the mountains, and at the beach, and spending time with family.  Jamie currently resides in the Wallburg area.

Wendy Everhart
Treatment Coordinator

Wendy Everhart is a North Carolina native, who grew up in Davidson County.  She  graduated from the radiology program at Wake Forest.  She has over two years of experience in Pediatric Dentistry. She joined Dr. Lindsay in 2006.  She has one sister and one niece.  Wendy’s hobbies include, spending time with her boyfriend Matt and Abby and Gracie her two chocolate Labradors, watching football, shopping, and spending time with friends and family.

Jean Elberson
Administrative Assistant - Office "Mama"

Jean Elberson is a North Carolina native who lives in Franklinville with husband Henry.  She has two children, Jeff and Angie, a stepdaughter, Lori, and five grandchildren, Brittany, Jonathan, Dustin, Stetson and Lydia.  She enjoys spending time with her four sisters, gardening and making pottery.  She is an active member of Franklinville Wesleyan Church where she serves as church secretary and assistant director of the Wesleyan Women's fellowship.
